For example, if you were doing a presentation for a project, you could connect your DVI source (such as a laptop) via the DVI connection to the Transmitter (DVI-D to CAT5e/6), which will connect to the Receiver (CAT5e/6 to DVI-D) using a CAT5e or CAT6 cable, and connect your DVI display (such as a screen or projector) to the other end of the Receiver. You can sit comfortably at a desk while you give your presentation or be in another room while your audience watches.
